This is a striking vintage silk scarf made in Japan by Echo.  The scarf features a coat-of-arms design that is signed underneath with “Heraldic Crest © Echo Scarfs, Inc”.  The crest features a “lion rampant” surrounded by a knight’s head armour overhead, ornate flourishes at the sides with tassels hanging down.  The colours are brown and goldenrod with black outlining against a silver grey background.  The edge is hand rolled to the back.

Condition: It is in very good condition with the exception of a small spot at the lower right corner (see last close-up photo).  The scarf has not been dry cleaned and retains its original folds, so looks like it saw very little use, so it is possible that the spot may come out with a cleaning.

This is a lovely Echo silk scarf, rich looking design!
